Lakmé Absolute Precision Liquid Liner: Review

So I was looking through my last 10 posts and I realized that it's been a while since I've done a makeup review. So I pulled out my favourite liner and decided to review it ^_^

What's on the pen? Unique tip for a super smooth, mistake proof and one stroke precise jet black line.
  • Super long wear
  • Waterproof
  • Ophthalmologically tested

Price:
Rs. 400 for 1.2 ml

Shelf Life: Approx 3 years

Ingredients: ??

I had read rave reviews of this liner. So when I when they were offering that gorgeous heart-shaped pendant for purchases over Rs. 1000 in February, I picked it up. And I haven't turned to another liner since. It's what I was using in my wedding post too. Liquid liners are usually difficult to apply, but this one comes as a felt tip pen which makes application extremely convenient (though not mistake proof really). Again, like a bunch of other Lakmé products I've used, this one doesn't mention its ingredients which is a bit annoying.

The liner gives a jet black super glamorous finish in one go itself. And the tip makes it extremely easy to apply the liner as thin or thick as you want. The cap of the pen shuts tightly making it very convenient to carry around. The liner easily lasts the entire day (about 10-12 hours with no signs of budging) on the upper lash line while on the waterline it lasts for about 3-4 hours which is something I completely expected(if you've read my previous posts, you'll know that my eyes are very watery). If I had to find a fault with this liner, it'd be the strong antiseptic smell the felt tip liner has. But no one needs to smell it; and you won't realize a thing after applying it. So that doesn't matter.

Hits:
  • Super long wear
  • Survives random splashes of water (don't try rubbing your eyes with water and expect it last - it is a liquid liner after all)
  • Comes off easily with oil (including the oil on oily lids, so avoid rubbing your eyes in general)/cleansing milk
  • Affordable
  • Very convenient packaging
  • Dries in under a minute
  • Felt tip makes application super easy
  • One swipe is more than sufficient for the jet black glam eyes
  • Safe for use on the waterline as well (though it doesn't show up as dark there and needs a couple of swipes)

Misses:
  • Missing ingredients list
  • Antiseptic smell
  • Disappears completely from my waterline in 4 hours

My Verdict: 9.5/10 (-0.5 for the missing ingredients)

Will I repurchase it? Absolutely! This has become my go to liner. You must try it!
